Superintendent

The Wyomissing Area School District Board of School Directors appointed Robert L. Scoboria as Superintendent of Schools effective September 29, 2017.  During his initial time as Superintendent, Mr. Scoboria has met with hundreds of stakeholders to listen and learn about WASD.  Students, employees, parents and community members will continue to have input regarding the programs and services provided at WASD.  See the links below for Mr. Scoboria’s “Listen and Learn Summary” and “Superintendent Goals.”

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Scoboria served as the Assistant Superintendent of the Boyertown Area School District for twelve years.  In this position, Mr. Scoboria provided leadership and support for ten school principals, pupil services and special education programs, facilities, transportation, District communications, and special functions including two construction projects.

Mr. Scoboria completed his master’s degree in education at Millersville University, his bachelor’s degree at the Pennsylvania State University, and completed his superintendent’s certification through Arcadia University.  Prior to time as Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Scoboria served as a director of pupil services, special education director, and learning support teacher.  Mr. Scoboria resides in Exeter Township with his wife, Marybeth, and their three children.
