Inclement Weather/ Emergency Information
Events such as Columbine, 9/11, and Virginia Tech remind us of the necessity to be able to alert parents of emergency situations. Also, when roads are in such a condition to seriously affect the operation of the school buses or in any way jeopardize the well-being of students, the schools of the District may operate on a two hour delay or close. When a decision is made to delay the opening of or close schools due to inclement weather, an announcement will be made through the following media outlets by 6:00 a.m.: Radio Please do not call the school.
