Under the School Code, to be eligible to be elected or appointed to a Pennsylvania school board, one must be a citizen, at least 18 years old, of good moral character, and a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to the date of election or appointment. This 2017 election cycle, four seats serving a four-year term will be open for the Wyomissing Area Board of School Directors. It is very important to follow the election services timeline and to review the Berks Cou nty Elections Services' website for guidance and direction:

CROSS FILING WITH BOTH PARTIES
Candidates for School Director who choose to cross file cannot have the same person circulate both party petitions. The circulator must be a registered member of the party indicated on the front of the petition. Please contact the Berks County Election Services for further direction.
