The Wyomissing Area School Board has started a search for the next superintendent of schools. The anticipated timeline has an open application deadline of July 24, 2017. The Board will then proceed through reviewing applications, background and reference checks and a series of interviews. The Board anticipates a potential appointment in the Fall of 2017, but will take the time necessary to find the right candidate.
As part of the search process, the board has invited community, staff and student input through a survey that is available on the district’s website and through the link below.
Wyomissing Area Superintendent Search Survey
The Wyomissing Area School District Board of Directors invites your participation in a survey related to the superintendent search. The survey affords school community members the opportunity to provide input regarding the qualifications and experience they believe would be important in a new superintendent. The survey also allows respondents to provide their assessment of challenges, issues and needs in the district. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us about this important position. The link to the survey is available below for interested parties who chose to complete and submit responses.
The survey will be available until Monday, July 17, at 12:00 pm. Hard copies of the survey are also available in each building office and the District Office and also need to be returned to any building office by Monday, July 17, at 12:00 pm. Thank you on behalf of the Board for all submissions.
