Special Transportation Message
District personnel and municipality workers have worked diligently to clear lots, streets and walkways of snow; however, there remain some places in both Boroughs where streets are narrow and walkways are not completely clear. These conditions may impact transportation schedules on Thursday. We ask for your patience and understanding as our buses travel through the Boroughs to pick up and deliver students; it is very likely that bus stop times will vary. Please ensure that your child/ren are dressed appropriately in case the wait time for the bus is longer than usual in the morning. Students, if you walk to school, please take extra care as some walkways may still be snow covered.
To assist us in keeping to the bus run schedule as closely as possible, please arrive to your bus stop at the scheduled two-hour delay time in the morning as well as the regular end-of-day time in the afternoon, if you are picking up a student/s at the bus stop. We will take our time to ensure the safe arrival of students to school in the morning as well as a safe return in the afternoon.
