PSSA Report Card

The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is a series of tests administered to students throughout the commonwealth. The purpose of the tests is to measure student performance in various subject areas, including reading, math, and writing. Students are tested in reading and math in grades 3, 5, 8, and 11, and in writing in grades 6, 9, and 11. Student performance is measured against state academic standards.

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2002 requires all public schools in the nation to show adequate yearly progress (AYP) toward meeting certain standards of performance. All Wyomissing Area schools have met AYP requirements for achievement and participation.
