Starting on Monday, October 3, 2022, All Wyomissing Area School District students are eligible for free breakfast for the 2022-2023 school year.
All students enrolled, regardless of income level, are eligible to participate in this program.
The free School Breakfast Program, announced by Governor Tom Wolf, will only provide free breakfast for all students, regardless of eligibility, for the 2022-2023 school year.
** Please note that lunch remains the same as set by your eligibility status and/or paid meal prices from the beginning of the year.

To promote access to healthy food choices amongst children so as to ensure readiness to learn, wellness, and compliance with Federal and State Child Nutrition Program standards.

To work together as a team to be successful in running a financially self-sustaining department while promoting health and wellness in a diverse school community where parents, children and the greater community can be enriched and enjoy the excellence of service in accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
OUR MENU
Breakfast and Lunch served daily at all buildings. We follow a traditional menu with Offer vs. Serve. Students are offered the following daily during lunch:
- 1 Serving of meat or meat alternate
- 2 servings of fruit and/or vegetables
- 1 serving of bread or bread alternate
- 1 serving of milk
To qualify for a school lunch students must choose three of the offered items or ala carte prices will be charged for each item. Menus are posted on the web monthly.
