Food Services
The school district operates the School Nutrition Program of which it adheres to the child nutrition meal patterns by age group following the USDA standards. The school breakfast program's meal includes one serving of fruit or vegetable, one serving of grains or grain alternatives, and one serving of fat-free (unflavored or flavored) or low-fat (unflavored) milk. The National School Lunch Program's meal includes one or two servings of fruit, one or two servings of vegetables, one serving of grains, and one serving of meat/meat alternate and one serving of fat-free (unflavored or flavored) or low-fat (unflavored) milk.
Our daily meals may include a hot entree, or entree alternatives such as cold sandwiches, a vegetarian option, and other grab and go selections. Ala Carte items may also be available for sale which follow approved meal and snack guidelines. Accommodations for students with special dietary needs may be requested upon completion of a Medical Plan of Care for School Food Service by a health care provider.

Upon enrollment, each student is provided with a cafeteria account. Parents are encouraged to send weekly deposits in their children's accounts. Traditional payment methods may include a cash or check payment sent with your child to school and must include your child's name with student ID in a sealed envelope labeled Attention: Food Services. Online payments may be accepted through www.schoolcafe.com .

Applications for free or reduced meals must be completed every year. Applications are available in your child's school and can be found under departments/food services on the district website. Online applications may also be completed on www.schoolcafe.com.
