Are you considering serving on the Wyomissing Area Board of School Directors?

Under the School Code, to be eligible to be elected or appointed to a Pennsylvania school board, one must be a citizen, at least 18 years old, of good moral character, and a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to the date of election or appointment.

Pennsylvania’s school districts are governed and supported by an elected or appointed board of officials that holds certain assigned responsibilities and authorities. PSBA is dedicated to serving Pennsylvania’s elected  or appointed school board directors, but our service begins when an individual is elected to and seated on their school board.
