Working Papers
Any person seeking employment prior to their eighteenth birthday or graduation is required under the Child Labor Law to obtain working papers. The procedure is as follows:
1. Application for working papers may be obtained between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.at the JSHS main office receptionist window by the student seeking employment.
2. The student must bring the application signed by their parent or guardian indicating their consent for the student to work along with proof of age (original birth certificate, passport, driver's license, etc.; no photo copies.
3. The working paper will then be issued.
